A art exhibition piece surrounding young people issue. The piece reflects young people confidences
The aim of the exhibition was to bring attention to young people’s issues that are not often talked about. The brief was to create an A3 poster that brought attention to ones of these issues of the artist’s choosing in five days.
After researching different issues, the chosen one was self confidence and its affect on mental health, as this is something many young artist experiences. Initially, a list of ways to visually interpret this issue and sketches helped to develop avenues through which to develop this poster further. Out of reach ladder steps began to be the strongest idea.
The final design came through to use of photography and focused on the idea of pulling yourself out of a rut - finding the courage to believe in yourself enough to help yourself. This method also helped to develop the design in a short space of time.
